Living Oceans Society's annual photo contest is now closed for 2021, and this year's winners are below!!

The Ocean Exposures Photo Contest ran from June 22nd, 2021 until August 31st, 2021. The winners were announced September 14th, 2021. Please enjoy the winning photos below, and check out our Facebook page to see all of this year's entries.

Submissions fell into one of three categories to qualify: ‘Below the Surface’, 'Coastal Wildlife', and 'Work or Play on the Ocean', with 3 prizes available per category. There was also one uncategorized 'Seahuggers' Choice' prize (chozen by total 'likes' each photo gets in a album we posted on our Facebook page), making a total of ten prizes awarded this year.

Entries had to be recent and located on near or under one of Canada’s three oceans, and this year we requested photographers please follow all Covid-19 related social distancing and safety protocols.

No purchase necessary. Contest was open to Canadians excluding Quebec residents.

Contest ran from June 22nd to August 31st, 2021.

Our judge Andrew S Wright selected winners for each category based on clarity, exposure, composition, uniqueness and creativity. For more details and contest rules, visit "".
