This is from the perspective of the ocean fishes. Put yourself in a salmon's skin!

Question#1: What is happening to our "homes": where we live, find food, have babies?

As salmon we are noticing that several things are happening to our “homes” and unfortunately most of these things are harmful to us. There are the gradual things that slowly add up over the years, such as logging which can block up rivers so that we are unable to return to our spawning beds. Logging can also cause erosions and slides which can lead to blocked off streams and rivers, as well slides contaminate the water and make it difficult or in some cases impossible to swim through. The most recent and rapid change happening to our home is the installation of fish farms. Fish farms have caused sever damage to our homes; they are a fess pool for sea lice which particularly affect our young. The fish farms also cause the ocean floor below them to become contaminated from old feed, and toxins, making passage through them very difficult and some times dangerous. Escaped Atlantic salmon from these farms can harm or destroy the stream beds in which we lay our eggs. To be fair there are some good things are happening to our homes such as the environmental work being done, but sadly the biggest impact we feel is that of the negitive and unless something more can be done we may be in serious danger.
